Just a short drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the Sepang International Circuit stretches 5.5 km (3.4 miles) across 15 turns. Construction began in late 1997, and the circuit opened in March 1999. It was the design that made Hermann Tilke's name and set the template for a generation of modern Grand Prix venues. The lap is fast and flowing, wide enough to reward bold lines, and it ends with two long straights joined by a tight hairpin, one of the best overtaking spots in racing.
Sepang hosted the Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix from 1999 to 2017, and its heat, humidity and sudden tropical downpours made it one of the toughest tests on the calendar. In 2026, Formula 1 returned when Sepang stepped in to host the relocated Bahrain Grand Prix, and true to form, the race was hit by rain, with Max Verstappen winning just as he had in Malaysia's last Grand Prix in 2017. Two-wheeled racing is just as important here: MotoGP has raced at Sepang since 1999 and is contracted to return through 2031. Today the circuit also hosts endurance racing such as the Sepang 12 Hours, along with track days and testing all year.
Our Sepang wall art turns Tilke's famous layout into a clean, layered piece that looks great in an office, garage or living room. Every turn and straight is precisely 3D printed for crisp detail and depth. It makes a great gift for F1 and MotoGP fans, or a reminder of your own visit to Malaysia's home of speed.
